Park Services Firewood Distribution

It's A Go! - Firewood is available Wheaton Park District taxpayers can pick up free firewood at the Park Services Center: 1000 Manchester Road Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 2:15 PM Please note: Pickup is only available during these hours. Donations are appreciated and support the future development of the Sensory Garden Playground. Closed - As of Friday, February 6, 2026 the sled hill at Northside Park is closed due to lack of snow on the hill and will remain closed until further notice.

Barracuda Swim Team

Open - Practice is back to normal after the holiday weekend. If there is inclement weather, please check back for updates. Morning practices will start Monday, June 2nd, with 11 and Older swimmers going from 6:45-7:45A and 10 and Unders from 7:45-8:45A. Please check back for updates if the weather looks questionable.
